Hi, my name’s Alison and I'm a friend to cats! I’ve always been that lady you call when you find abandoned kittens, see a cat in need, or have a question about why your kitty is doing a weird thing. As the years go on and more foster cats find their way to me it’s time to work toward becoming a nonprofit so I can continue to help even more cats and kittens.
My mission at The Ranch Cat Rescue is to provide a safe environment to foundling kittens, heavily pregnant mothers, and to help cats in need become adopted into loving forever families. I assist and support TNR (trap, neuter, return) work in the Bloomington Indiana community (and beyond), advocate for cats, and help to educate the public so together we can work to save the lives of cats and kittens.
Currently my focus is on kittens of all ages (bottle babies included) and pregnant cats. The Ranch Cat Rescue is currently run from my home (a small ranch style house, hence the name) with a dedicated cat room and auxiliary space for bottle babies. I take in as many adult cats as I can, but always on a case-by-case basis as I need to keep balance in my home and consider the needs of my own cats too.
